Abraham

There used to be a very ambitious man called Abraham. Abraham wanted to build a large and successful company that would dominate its industry. He also aspired to be a wealthy man with mansions, luxury cars, and private jets. Unfortunately, he was the son of a lower-class family. Which meant his journey would be difficult and full of adversity.

For some reason, Abraham seemed unfazed by how difficult the road to success would be. After all, he had no connections, money, education, or anything else. The odds were stacked against him. The only thing Abraham going for him was the fact that he was an extremely intelligent man.

He read and observed a lot. He studied successful people and unsuccessful people. Abraham also studied successful people that failed later on in their lives. After studying people for years, he started pursuing his own goals.

Naturally, he was confronted with adversity in every phase of his life. He faced another challenge every day. After years of hard work and dedication, he finally hit the jackpot and became the founder of a large successful company. From then on, he accumulated more wealth and ultimately attained his aspirations and dreams.

Looking back…

When people looked back at his journey and asked him how he had been able to deal with all of the problems and road-blocks that were not apparent when he first started, Abraham stated that one must prepare for every kind of problem when they want to do something. One problem that is usually not apparent to people is certain individuals trying to use them.

For most people, it is hard to foresee how others might try to use them and then leave them behind. Most people become victims of grooming and manipulating, especially if they are talented individuals with no power. It is possible for them to be used. Abraham found himself in a similar situation when a successful businessman saw how talented he was.

Abraham was a talented software engineer, so the businessman wanted Abraham to develop software for him for free. He told Abraham he would be paid afterwards. Most bright kids with no power mostly fall for these kinds of deals promising they will be paid. Abraham was no exception. Or that is what most people thought.

The businessman did not pay him and kicked him out. Most people would be shocked in this situation because they get groomed for months and then get fired. It’s hard to anticipate that happening so most people never prepare for it. However, during his tenure, Abraham built strong relationships with the influential people around the businessman.

Conclusion

Abraham knew the free work was his opportunity to build relationships that could help him attain his goals. He knew he was being groomed to do free work because he had learned about it when he studied successful and unsuccessful people.

Abraham developed a plan for all kinds of problems during his study period. While it is hard for one to anticipate every problem or twist of fortune they will experience, we can try our best to plan so we are not overwhelmed by problems when we are confronted by them. Those among us who think further ahead and patiently execute their plans seem to have godlike power.
